Play Therapy Prague
Healing through Music, Art, Dance, Drama & Nature

I believe that each child is unique & by giving them time to explore within a safe space through play what is troubling them, the process of healing begins.
Hello & Welcome!
Hi! My name is Vanessa. I am a qualified child, adult, and family Play Therapist with Play Therapy UK (PTUK), and a qualified teacher with over 20 years of experience working with children, young people, adults, families, and groups.
I look forward to supporting you and your family.
I work with children aged 3–12, young people aged 13–17, and adults, using play therapy and a wide range of creative and expressive art forms, including drama, music, clay, dance, yoga for children, and education through play.
My approach is grounded in play therapy, with foundations in hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and is tailored to each client’s individual needs and therapeutic style.
My practice is client-centred, strengths-based, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and anti-oppressive. I support clients with giftedness, high sensitivity, special educational needs, attachment difficulties, anxiety, sensory processing differences, trauma, ADHD, autism, and selective mutism.
Play Therapy Prague offers sessions in a warm, welcoming space with access to creative materials, musical instruments, puppets, sand tray, video-making tools, books, and our therapeutic dog, Coco Disco.

Artistic director of the non-profit Chance 4 Children (Prague) where I train clowns and promote laughter therapy in hospitals.
As a professional artist and educator, I became very interested in how these fields could work together. From personal experience I came to understand the boundless potential of the creative arts in healing, growing, learning and thriving. Play therapy provides endless possibilities as it combines all art forms: music, dance, drama, sand play, visualizations, storytelling, art and nature.
